Land share

We are considering starting a pilot Land Share project. It will not be for everyone but it will be an amazing opportunity for those who are searching for a community that pools its resources in an effort to be sustainable, safe and self-sufficient.

Please read ALL the information carefully. 

Living in the forest, mostly off-grid, away from the city, can be very difficult for those with no prior experience, only romantic notions or unrealistic expectations. Only a very few rugged, resilient & detrained individuals can do that. But in a community, the hardship & adjustment period is much quicker, easier or possible.     

This is not simply a matter of anyone deciding to join or just showing-up.

There are many conditions and screening process.  

As this is a pilot project, rules & conditions will evolve as we grow.

Who is it for?

Anyone who will give more than they receive, is grateful, peaceful,  self reliant & non-imposing. 

Anyone who can use their physical strength, financial resources and/or other skills(carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, ingenuity, animal husbandry, cooking/baking, gardening, sewing/textile, fundraising, marketing, musical, art,……………, to contribute to the community’s prosperity. 

Anyone who wants to be a part of a likeminded community, peace & quite, safety and simpler life.

Anyone who has been reading themselves for some time by studying, leaning skills, researching, soul searching and allowing for difficulties & hardship that this new chapter will present. 

Who is it NOT for?

Anyone who believes that they are entitled or looking for free land.

Anyone who possess neither human nor financial resources. 

Anyone who has anger/violence issues.

Anyone who has addictions. 

Cigaret smokers. 

Anyone who likes to impose, involve others with their problems and/or force their views on others. 

Anyone who cannot contribute in some meaningful way that is actually helpful. 

Anyone who is a taker, loud or lazy.

Anyone who wants to have parties/gatherings/loud music.

Anyone who has loud & noisy kids, pets or animals.

Anyone requires medical attention or monitoring.

Anyone who expects others to build them a house, drive them around, do their chores & obligations.

Anyone who hates their current city lives so much that they just want out, with little to no consideration & planning.

We are not a charity organization nor do we receive any funding or grants from anywhere. We are all trying to live a sustainable life within our means.

If you are looking for sponsorship, help with immigration or employment, please look elsewhere.

We are also not equipped or trained to assist anyone with physical, mental  or other disabilities.

If you did not make it past the “Who is it NOT for” portion Or if you disagree with any of those conditions, you might want to attempt starting your very own community. There is currently 34-44 acres (plus structures) available for purchase. 

The process;

It will start with a lengthy interview/screening. 

Successful applicants will then be permitted to park their trailer on the land or build a humble home either mobile/portable or on permanent foundation for a period of one year

(Discovery). 

The Discovery year is the time when they and we would use to get to know each other and see whether we are a good fit.

If neither side is happy, the portable structures would be removed. We may come to some arrangement in the case of the permanent structures.

Meanwhile you can come for a visit with your trailer, tent or stay at one of our accommodation options, to see the neighbourhood, get a feel for the geography etc.

We also have land for sale, for anyone looking to have complete autonomy and say over their own affairs. You can purchase 3+ acres on your own or with your family/friends.
